download channel.

Both editions are native Mac apps for macOS 15 or later. Install future updates through the same channel. Export a backup in the app before switching channels.

DIRECT DOWNLOAD

From SafeClip

The direct edition is signed by the developer and notarized by Apple. Move SafeClip.app to Applications after downloading. The app can notify you of new direct releases.

APPLE DISTRIBUTION

Mac App Store

Install and update through the App Store. Apple handles VIP purchases, subscriptions, offer codes, and restoration.

Search for “SafeClip” in the Mac App Store.

App Store purchases do not transfer to a direct-download license. The two editions may store app data in different locations.

Install or switch editions

  1. Unzip the direct download and move SafeClip.app to Applications before opening it.
  2. To switch channels, export a backup from Settings → General in your current edition, then import it in the new edition.
  3. VIP entitlements are managed separately for each channel.
