Effective October 1, 2026
SafeClip is a macOS clipboard manager provided by Yuhao Shen. These terms govern use of the app and direct-download VIP licenses sold through safeclip.app.
Product and editions
SafeClip requires macOS 15 or later. Clipboard history and basic search are available without VIP. VIP adds features such as configurable sensitive-value replacement, supported-file redaction, image text recognition, and document content search. Feature availability may depend on your settings, file type, and the edition you install.
The direct-download and Mac App Store editions have separate purchase systems. A Mac App Store purchase does not provide a direct-download license, and a direct-download license does not unlock the Mac App Store edition. Export a backup before switching editions.
Direct-download license
A direct-download VIP license may be activated on up to two Macs at the same time. You may deactivate a Mac in the app to free a seat. Keep your license key secure and contact support if you need help recovering it.
Annual VIP renews automatically each year until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewal and access continues until the end of the paid term, unless a refund or other revocation applies. Lifetime VIP is a one-time purchase that provides VIP features for as long as the direct SafeClip edition is offered; it does not promise that the product or any particular feature will exist forever.
Orders, cancellation, and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service for payment inquiries and handles returns. The final currency, amount, taxes, and renewal date are shown at checkout and on your receipt.
To cancel an annual subscription, use the management link in your Paddle receipt or contact [email protected]. See our Refund Policy for refund eligibility and request instructions. Mac App Store purchases and refunds are handled through Apple.
Use and support
You may use SafeClip for your own lawful purposes. You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing it: replacement rules may miss sensitive information, and original values and exported backups are stored in plaintext on your Mac.
